Your Private Battles

I read this quote yesterday and instantly thought about some of you guys…

“The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those that win battles we know nothing about.”

I know some of you are fighting some huge personal battles this week. I don’t know what you’re fighting for or against but maybe it’s…

A relational battle?
A financial battle?
A spiritual battle?

Maybe nobody knows about it. Maybe you feel all alone. But you’re not. God’s with you every step of the way.

Praying that today you’ll allow your faith to be bigger than your fear.

Pastor Pete , Would you read my comment under desiring God presence. Alot of the time ( at least for me) The battles I have had to fight could have been avoided by keepings Gods presence close.

Great thought here Pete! I’ve been reading about faith and patience (Hebrews & James) in light of our fear and external circumstances. Your thoughts hit right on the mark, thanks!

Just to clarify— are you saying we should keep our battles private? I feel like this leads to people feeling like they can’t bring all of themselves to the church. That we have to “have it all together” in order to be in community.
